A recent article in The Argonaut Online Magazine focused on the mission of Awakening Recovery, it’s success in helping men recover, and the newly opened women’s house.

Awakening Recovery has raised over $2 million for the new women’s house, from major contributors and private donations.

“Our philosophy is to always accept residents in our recovery home regardless of ability to pay,” van der Velde said.
